A low-cost autonomous ground vehicle for repeated greenhouse monitoring, built from commodity components. Key contributions: AprilTag-based visual localization with 100% docking success across approach angles, and a direct-contact charging mechanism that is 58.4% faster and 90–95% efficient compared with wireless alternatives, enabling operator-free multi-week operation.
